Limericks
Limericks are five line poems that have one couplet and one triplet.
The last word in lines 1, 2, and 5 rhyme with each other. These lines all have three beats.
The last word in lines 3 and 4 rhyme. These lines have two beats.
Limericks are usually funny!!!
Here is an example of a Limerick:
